Good News!!! The project is completed and this will be the final blog post for the project. We hope you found the information to be helpful and insightful regarding the current status of the project and upcoming work.
The Village of Glenview will provide surveys in the coming weeks for you to complete regarding the construction work and notifications provided. Please take a few moments to complete this survey. The information will allow us to know what aspects of the project we are doing well at and which areas we need to improve upon in the future.

Thanks again for all your patience and understanding throughout the construction project. We hope that you are happy with the improvements made.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Tim Schwister, Village Project Manager, at 847-904-4422.

The roadway reconstruction phase is still in full swing and working on the third and final phase of the project. Tentatively  next week we will be fine grading the road for the placement of the asphalt binder course. Landscaping throughout the project will be occurring at the same time. We understand this is a huge inconvenience to each of the residents without driveways access; therefore, we are doing everything possible to minimize it to the greatest extent possible.  Once access is restored, a majority of the roadway work in front of your home will be completed, including the first layers of asphalt binder which will significantly reduce the amount of dust and provide for a smooth driving surface.

Thank you in advance to all those  residents without driveway access for the next twelve days, your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

The roadway reconstruction phase is still in full swing and working on the third and final phase of the project. Tentatively  next week we will continue the excavation and undercutting. Tentatively the contractor will start preparing for the curb installation. We understand this is a huge inconvenience to each of the residents without driveways access; therefore, we are doing everything possible to minimize it to the greatest extent possible. Driveway access is for an extended period of time to allow for all the work to be completed at one time in lieu of staggered driveways restrictions several times over the next few weeks. Once access is restored, a majority of the roadway work in front of your home will be completed, including the first layers of asphalt binder which will significantly reduce the amount of dust and provide for a smooth driving surface.
